PARLIAMENT OF INDIA - Many Openings(SC, ST & OBC)

Applications are invited from eligible Indian citizens belonging to Scheduled Castes (SCs), Scheduled Tribes (STs) & Other Backward Classes (OBCs) to fill up the backlog reserved vacancies for the following posts in Lok Sabha Secretariat:

Parliamentary Reporter Grade-II(English/Hindi)
Parliamentary Interpreter Grade-II
Hindi Assistant
Junior Library Assistant
Security Assistant Grade-II
Junior Proof Reader
Junior Clerk
Warehouseman


AGE LIMIT: Upper age limit is 32 years for SC/ST and 30 years for OBC candidates. For the post at sl. no. 2, (Regional Languages stream) upper age limit is 40 years for SC/ST and 38 years for OBC candidates. For those candidates applying for post nos. 6 and 8 having 5 years prescribed work experience, the upper age limit is 37 years for SC/ST and 35 years for OBC candidates.

HOW TO APPLY
I. Eligible candidates have to apply in typewritten form for the above posts, either in English or in Hindi, strictly in the prescribed format. The format of the application can be downloaded from the website http://www.loksabha.nic.in under the link ‘Recruitment’.
II. Candidates desirous of applying for more than one post should submit separate application form for each post.
III. Applications which are illegible, not conforming to the prescribed application format and the instructions given in the Advertisement or received after the last date will be summarily rejected.
IV. Candidates in Government service should submit their application(s) through proper channel only. No such application will be accepted 7 days after 03.10.2011.
