Anna University - Research Officer (BE/B.Tech)

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the post of Research Officer in
Department of Mining Engineering, CEG Campus, Anna University, Chennai for a timebound
research project.

Essential Qualifications :
B.E in Mining, Mechanical or Civil Engg. with First Class

Desirable:
(i) Experience in Soil mechanics / Solid Mechanics / Fluid Mechanics / Rock Mechanics / Mining;
(ii) Knowledge of Numerical Modelling and FEM usage of at least one FEM package. Proficiency in Computer programming in at least two languages, Proficiency in
AUTOCAD or any other solid modelling packages.

Age Limit: Not more than 26 years as on 01.07.2012.

The candidates can also register for M.S (By Research) or Ph.D based on their eligibility. Applications complete in all respects, should reach the following address on or before 20.06.2012. Selection of the candidate would be through an interview and TA / DA would not be paid for attending the interview.
