IIST - Project Engineer(BE/B.Tech/ME/M.Tech)

Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology (IIST) invites applications for
Project Engineer on contract basis to work on Research & Development (R&D) Projects.



1.PE- 01
Qualification
B.E/ B. Tech /M.E/M.Tech or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering.

Desirable : Having good knowledge in structural design and analysis, CAD packages and FEM software like ANSYS. Proficiency in AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor software.

2.PE-02
Qualification
B.E/ B.Tech or equivalent in Electronics and Communication Engineering or Computer Science & Engineering.

Desirable :
Knowledge about Computer Networking is essential. Good programming skill
in C/C++ and shell scripting on Linux/ Unix platforms. Experience with embedded System Programming or Database Management System (DBMS) is desirable.

3.PE-03
Qualification
B.E/ B.Tech or equivalent in Electronics.

4.PE-04
Qualification
M.E/ M.Tech or equivalent in Electronics.

Note:
▪ B.E/B.Tech or equivalent qualification should be in First Calss with minimum 65% of Marks or 6.5/10 CGPA. Aggregate of all semesters of B.E/ B.Tech will be taken for computing 65%
▪ M.E/M.Tech or equivalent qualification should be in First Calss.
▪ Age limit :
35 years as on 09.04.2012 (SC/ST/OBC/ Ex-servicemen/ Persons With Disability (PWD) are eligible for age relaxation as per rule).
▪Remuneration: For B.Tech or equivalent degree holders ` 30,000/- (consolidated) per month. For M.Tech or equivalent degree holders ` 35,000/- (consolidated) per month.

▪ The tenure of short term contract appointment is for a period of ONE YEAR and extendable on need basis.
▪ Candidates should enclose attested true copies of the relevant certificate/ testimonials along with the application.
▪ Candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/ Ex-servicemen/ PWD should produce copies of the relevant certificates issued by the Competent Authority to that effect.
▪ The Institute reserves the right to terminate the assignment at any time before completion of the contract appointment, if it so decides.
▪ Only Indian Nationals need apply.
▪ No interim correspondence will be entertained.
