FSSAI - Technical Officer(Msc)

It is proposed to fill up various posts in FSSAI Head Quarters / Regional Offices on transfer on deputation on Foreign Service terms including short term contract/ contract as per details contained in Annexure–1 of this circular. Officers fulfilling the eligibility criteria & experience as in Annexure – I may apply in the prescribed Performa (Annexure–II).



4.Technical Officer (Headquarters/Zones)
Eligibility /experience:

Deputation/Short Term contract
Officers from Central or State Government/ Autonomous Bodies/ government controlled /funded recognised research institutions /Universities /PSUs :-
(i)holding analogous or equivalent post on regular basis; or
(ii) withsix years regular service in Pay Band 2 (Rs.9300-34800) with Grade Pay Rs.2800 or equivalent.
(b) possessing the following educational qualification and experience and
Masters Degree or equivalent from a recognised university or institution in field of Chemistry/Bio chemistry/Food Technology/ Edible Oil Technology/ Microbiology/ Dairy Technology/ Agriculture Sciences/ Veterinary Science/ Bio-technology / Nutrition / Toxicology or any other related disciplines. Contract (Outsourced)

Essential qualification:-
Masters Degree or equivalent from a recognised university or institution in field of Chemistry/Bio chemistry/Food Technology/ Edible Oil Technology/ Microbiology/ Dairy Technology/ Agriculture Sciences/ Veterinary Science/ Bio-technology/ Nutrition/Toxicology or any other related disciplines.

Officers from Central / State Governments/ Autonomous Bodies / government controlled or funded Research Institutions / Universities / PSUs having requisite qualification and experience and who fulfil other eligibility conditions contained in the recruitment notice/circular shall be considered for appointment on deputation/short term contract.
The last date for receiving applications is4th May, 2012. The date to determine the eligibility, age limit and qualifications/experience will be the last date of receipt of applications.
