Applications are invited from male citizens of India possessing educational qualifications and age as prescribed below for recruitment to the post of Enrolled Followers (Safai Wala) in the Indian Coast Guard, an armed force of the union.

Qualification:
Matriculation or Industrial Training Institute or Equivalent
Age Limit :
Born between 10 Nov 1994 to 09 Nov 1987 (Upper age relaxation of 5 yrs for SC and 3 yrs for OBC candidates)
Selection procedure :
The candidates will have to appear for written test comprising General Awareness & Elementary Mathematics (10th standard level). The test will be of 50 marks (50 questions, multiple choices) and the pass marks will be 50 % for General & OBC candidates and 45 % for SC/ST candidates. The successful candidates will qualify for interview. The finally selected candidates will be medically examined.
(a) Candidates withdrawn on disciplinary grounds from any other service training establishments are not eligible to appear.
(b) Candidate should not have been arrested, convicted or prosecuted on criminal charges.
(c) Original certificates should not be attached with the application form. Indian Coast Guard will not take responsibility for loss of original certificates, if attached with application. Photo should be pasted and not stapled. Attestation made on the back side of the photo will not be entertained.
