Applications are invited from eligible Indian citizens for filling up of the following posts in Himalayan Forest Research Institute (HFRI) Shimla. These posts carry all India transfer liability (where the Institutes/Centres of ICFRE are situated). The eligibility criteria are as given below:
Post:
Research Assistant, Gr.II
Qualifications:
B.Sc. Degree in Science in therelevant subject from a recognized University.
(ie B.Sc. Forestry or B.Sc. Medical with Chemistry, Botany & Zoology subjects).
Lower Division Clerks
Qualifications:
i) 12th class pass certificate from a recognised Board.
ii) Typing speed of 30 words per minute in English or 25 words per minute in Hindi on manual typewriter or Typing speed of 35 words per minute in English or 30 words per minute in Hindi on computer
Technical Assistant, Gr.'C'
Qualifications:
12th pass with science from a recognized Board.
Forest Guard
Qualifications:
i) 10th Standard Pass from Government recognized board.
Multi Tasking Staff
Qualifications:
a) 10th Standard Pass certificate from recognized board / recognized school.

Last date for receipt of application is 28.02.2013. Last date for receipt of applications of candidates residing in Jammu & Kashmir State and Lahaul & Spiti District & Pangi Sub Division of Chamba Distt. of Himachal Pradesh is 15.03.2013. Applications received after the prescribed last date will be rejected straightaway.
