Junior Scientist
Qualification:
a) Passed the Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture/ Veterinary Science/
Agril. Engineering
b) Secured 55% marks or an equlvalent OGPA of 3.00 in
4.00 point scale or 7.00 in 10.00 point scale at the Master’s degree
level from an Indian University or an equivalent degree from a foreign
University.
c) Qualified National Eligibility Test (NET) in the
discipline in which NET is conducted.
Note :1. Essentiality of NET can be
waived off for the candidates holding Ph. D degree provided it has been
along with course work as prescribed by the UGC Regulations, 2009 and
the candidates has at least two full length publication having a NAAS
rating not less than 4, on the last date of submission of application.2.
Those candidates with Ph.D. degree without course work will not qualify
for NET exemption.Desirable:(i) Knowledge of rural agricultural
situation in Assam.(ii) Knowledge of local language of Assam.(iii) Ph.D.
in relevant field.
