Required/Desired Qualifications:
Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical, or Electrical, or Electronics engineering (or equivalent) is required, Working knowledge of programming is required,Strong motivation to learn and master new skills is required,Reasonable communication skills, verbal and written, is required,M. Tech. in relevant area is preferred,Experience in manufacturing processes is preferred,Experience in fabrication of printed circuit boards (PCBs) is strongly preferred
Responsibilities:
The person selected for this position will manage the operations of the PCB Fabrication Laboratory, located at IIT Kanpur. His responsibilities will include: Use newly installed facilities in the lab to fabricated PCBs to meet needs of IIT Kanpur students, faculty, research staff and others, Ensure smooth operation of Lab’s facilities,Maintenance of the laboratory and associated machines and facilities,Technological upgradation of Lab’s facilities on an as-required basis,Train and mentor interested individuals in the art and science of PCB fabrication,Process paperwork associated with purchases associated with 4i Laboratory
