University of Pune, invites applications for the post of Junior Research Fellow

Junior Research Fellow

Qualification : 

M.Tech or M.Sc in Atmospheric Sciences/ Meteorology with 55 % marks or equivalent grade (5.5 GPA on a 10 point scale or 3.5 GPA on a 6 point scale). Candidates who will be completing their degree by January, 2013 are also eligible to apply.

Desirable : Experience in atmospheric modeling and/or meteorological data analysis; FORTRAN/C programming in Linux, Unix, Windows  platforms

Duration : Till 31st March, 2013 or till the tenure of the project

Candidates may submit a plain paper application including a cover letter and CV (with details of name, date of birth, address for  correspondence, Tel. No. & E-mail, educational qualifications, relevant experience, etc) to the Head of the Department, Dept. of Atmospheric and Space Sciences, Publication Complex, University of Pune, Pune-411 007 on or before 16/12/2012.
