India, sponsored research project entitled “Metabolic Engineering of Phytic Acid Pathway
for Improving Iron Bioavailability in wheat”.
Post:
Junior Research Fellow
Project Duration: Four years (Initial appointment will be for one year and further extension will be granted based on the research progress and accomplishment.)
Fellowship: As per DST/DBT guidelines
Eligibility: The applicants must have first class M.Sc. in Biotechnology/Biochemistry/ Molecular Biology / or any other related areas. Candidates having JRF/NET/LS/GATE/ICMR will be preferred.
Desirable: Applicants having prior experience in advance molecular biology/biochemistry
and plant genetic transformation will be preferred.

Suitable candidates for JRF will be shortlisted based on their area of qualification, training, research experience and relevance of skills to the project. The shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview in front of a selection committee.
