Applications are invited from Women candidates only for the following posts Asst Professor / Associate Professor

Post:

Assistant Professor:

Essential Qualification:

Masters Degree in any discipline with not less than 50% of marks

M.Ed. Special Education (Mentally Retardation) with not less than 55% of marks or an equivalent grade of B in 7 point scale Or

An equivalent degree from a foreign University recognized by RCI

Desirable Qualification:

Ph.D/M.Phil in Education with research emphasis on Special Education/NET/SLET in Education

Experience for a period of at least 3 years as teacher or researcher in the area of specific disability

Associate Professor

Essential Qualification:

A Master’s Degree  and M.Ed  Special Education (MR)each with a minimum of 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed)

Ph.D. in Education   

At least   eight years   of teaching experience in University department of education or College of Education, with a minimum of three years at the M.Ed. level and has published work in the relevant area of specialization

Contribution to educational innovation, design of new curricula and courses, and technology – mediated teaching learning process with evidence of having guided doctoral candidates and research student

Assistant Professor

Essential Qualification:

A Master’s Degree  and M.Ed  each with a minimum of 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed)

Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC or similar test accredited by the UGC like SLET/SET

i)                    Candidates should send their filled-in applications in Eight Copies (Three copies with complete enclosures and five copies without enclosures).

ii)                  Separate applications are to be submitted for each post.

iii)                Candidates should enclose the attested photocopies of the certificates for the proof of their age, educational qualifications experience etc.

iv)                Candidate can also download the application form and instructions to the candidates from www.motherteresawomenuniv.ac.in.   Such downloaded filled-in Applications should accompany the prescribed Application fee of Rs.550/- (for general) Rs.350/- (for SC/ST candidates) by means of Demand Draft drawn in favour of “The Registrar, Mother Teresa Women’s University payable at “Kodaikanal”.

v)                  The application fee once paid will not be refundable under any circumstances.
