ICFRE Walk-in Interview for The Post of Junior Research Fellow/ Field Officer

Walk in interview for the following position purely on contractual basis under the Punjab Forest Department funded project entitled “Monitoring and evaluation of the works carried out by Punjab Forest Department under all schemes including Greening Punjab Mission"



Post:
Junior Research Fellow
Qualification:

First class M. Sc. Forestry
Desirable: Field experience in Nursery & Plantation activities


Junior Research Fellow
Qualification:

First class M. Sc. Forestry
Desirable: Field experience in tree improvement and clonal nursery

Field Officer
Qualification:
Retired ACF/Forest Range officer with experience of more than 20 years in Nursery and Plantation Management


Stipend and Tenure:   Stipend is Rs.12000/-(Rupees Twelve thousand only) per month for JRF.  Tenure will be initially for one year or up to project completion period whichever is earlier and may be extended as per ICFRE rules.

Age: Upper age limit is 28 years, which is relaxable up to 5 years for candidates belonging to SC/ST, Women, Physically Handicapped and OBC.


 Award of the fellowship is governed by the Indian Council of Forestry Research & Education rules and does not guarantee subsequent employment in any Institute under the council. The place of work will be in the state of Punjab and JRF with temporary HQ at Mohali. No TA/DA will be paid for attending in interview
