AIIMS Applications Are Invited For the Post of Senior Residents

The online applications are invited from Indian Citizens as per Govt. of India’s Residency Scheme, for the following posts of Senior Residents/Senior Demonstrators (including Backlog vacancies) on adhoc basis for the tenure period (3 years), which will become available between 01.01.2013 to 30.06.2013,

Senior Residents

QUALIFICATIONS:
Senior Residents for Medical Candidates
a) A postgraduate degree viz. MD/MS/MHA/MDS in the respective discipline from a recognized University/Institute.

For the Post of Geriatric Medicine
  A Postgraduate Degree viz. MD in Geriatric Medicine or MD in Medicine from a recognized university/Institute.

For the post of Pulmonary Medicine and Sleep Disorder
  A Postgraduate Degree viz. MD in Medicine or MD in Respiratory Medicine from a recognized university/Institute.

For the post of Emergency Medicine
  A postgraduate Degree viz. MD in Medicine from a recognized university/Institute.

For Non-Medical Candidates
  (i) The candidate shall possess an M.Sc in the subject concerned and (ii) Ph.D in the subject concerned/allied subject from a recognized University/Institute
  Qualifications for the post of Laboratory Medicine
MD in Laboratory Medicine / Pathology / Microbiology / Biochemistry from a recognized University / Institute.
  Senior Demonstrators in Medical Physics (Radiotherapy) and Senior Demonstrators in Medical Physics (IRCH): M.Sc in Medical Physics with one year experience or its equivalent recognized qualification OR M.Sc in Physics with Diploma in Radiological Physics.
However, in the event of candidate having M.Sc with Ph.D the pay scale will be as in the case of Non-Medical candidates.


The candidates who have appeared for examination and are declared successful/qualified their P.G Degree/Ph.D. exam. by 31.01.2013 are eligible to apply provided they complete their tenure of P.G/Ph.D by 31.01.2013.


APPLICATION FEE:
General/OBC category Rs.1,000/- (SC/ST category Rs.800/- + transaction charges as applicable). Payment through computer generated challan form in any branch of State Bank of India (SBI).


RESERVATION
(a). Reservation will be provided in the above posts in accordance with law. The appointment made pursuant to this advertisement shall be tentative and subject to further orders of the Hon’ble Supreme Court in Civil Appeal No.5119/02 & High Court Civil writ petition No. 4/07.


SELECTION PROCEDURE:
a) The Candidate can apply in any one Group out of 39 Groups as enlisted.
b) An online written Examination of 80 Marks based on MCQs in the subject concerned (total marks 80) will be conducted for eligible Candidate on 06.01.2013 (Sunday) in Delhi/NCR only. The exact time and place will be intimated in due course of time through admit card. The Admit Cards of eligible candidates will be uploaded on website aiimsexams.org w.e.f. 03.01.2013. Candidates are required to take print out of their Admit Card & produce the same at centre for written test.
Please note that Admit Card(s) are not being sent by post.
c) The total number of candidates called for the interview will be two times the number of seats (but not less than 3 in any category) advertised in the respective category. Candidates qualifying under OPH category may be over and above this number.
d) The result of the written examination will be displayed on the Notice Board of the Examination Section at AIIMS as well as AIIMS websites www.aiims.ac.in, www.aiims.edu and www.aiimsexams.org on 08.01.2013. The Interview will be held on the following dates as indicated against each date of interviews i.e. Group Number wise.
The Candidates are required to bring all their original certificates such as Date of Birth,Qualifications & Caste at the time of Interview for Verification before they are allowed to appear for interview. The candidates are to report for the interview at 9.30 AM sharp at LT-1/3, First/Third Floor, Teaching Block.
