A Bachelor's Degree in Agricultural Engineering / Agricultural and Food
Engineering is essential. ii. Good Academic record with at least 55%
the marks at the Master’s Degree level in Farm Machinery and Power
Engineering or any of the equivalent subjects of Farm Power and
Machinery / Farm Machinery and Power / Farm Power and Agro-Energy /
Bio-energy from a recognized Indian Agricultural University / IIT, or
an equivalent Degree from a Foreign University. iii. Candidates should
have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) in Farm Machinery and
Power Engineering or equivalent subject for Assistant Professor post
conducted by the ASRB/UGC/CSIR or a similar test accredited by the
ICAR/ICMR/NCERT/UGC/CSIR i.e. (a) For Agriculture / Animal Husbandry /
Veterinary / Fisheries disciplines, ASRB / ICAR NET in the concerned
subject is prescribed, (b) For Humanities, languages, etc. UGC NET is
prescribed and (c) For Pure Sciences, CSIR NET is prescribed. iv. Ph.D.

Assistant Professor of Animal Science

Assistant Professor of Information Science / Computer Science
Qualification:

Science / information Science or MCA from a recognized Indian

Assistant Professor of Agricultural Microbiology
Qualification:

(Agri.) in Agricultural Microbiology from a recognized Indian
Agricultural University, or an equivalent Degree from a Foreign
University. ii. Candidates should have cleared the National Eligibility
Test (NET) in Agricultural Microbiology for Assistant Professor post
conducted by the ASRB/UGC/CSIR or a similar test accredited by the
ICAR/ICMR/NCERT/UGC/CSIR i.e., (a) For Agriculture/ Animal
Husbandry/Veterinary/Fisheries disciplines, ASRB/ ICAR NET in the
concerned subject is prescribed (b) For Humanities, Languages, etc., UGC
NET is prescribed (c) For Pure Sciences, CSIR NET is prescribed. iii.
Ph.D. is desirable.
The
applicants have to enclose the prescribed processing fee in the form of
Indian Postal Order / Demand Draft / Banker’s Cheque for Rs. 250/- payable to “ THE COMPTROLLER, UAS, RAICHUR”
obtained / drawn within the period from 5-10-2012 to 5-11-2012 while
submitting the filled in application. The filled-in applications
without the prescribed fee are liable to be rejected. Separate
applications with separate fee are required for each of the posts
applied. Applications for two different posts should not be tagged
together. All communications, in respect of applications for recruitment
against the posts advertised by the University, should be addressed to
the Registrar, University of Agricultural Sciences, Raichur – 584 102. Filled-in applications together with copies of testimonials should be sent in an envelope, superscribing on it, “Application For The Post of ________” To The Registrar, University Of Agricultural Sciences, P.B.
