Consistent excellent academic record with First class Masters degree in Veterinary Science (Pathology or Microbiology)/ Life Sciences/ Biotechnology/ with CSIR/UGC NET qualification. Those candidates without CSIR/UGC NET also can apply; however, for such a candidate selected, the emoluments will be as per the DBT norms. The project involves extensive experiments using laboratory animals, especially mice, and handling ofinfectious organisms. The candidate must be willing to work with laboratory animals and carry out experiments in bio-safety containment facilities

Suitably qualified candidates may send applications in the prescribed format with a photograph, a copy of full resume and attested photocopies of credentials & experience to reach the Director, RGCB on or before17th October, 2012. Envelopes must be superscripted with abbreviated title of the project, advertisement number and job title. The appointment is subject to yearly assessment by a review committee and poor performance can lead to discontinuation of appointment. Selection to the position will not entitle the candidate to any future positions at RGCB (permanent or otherwise). As with all project positions at RGCB, the position will be co terminus with end of the project. Candidate with exceptional performance in the project may become eligible to apply for RGCB PhD program in Project Moderecruitment if vacancies arise in the Principal Investigator’s Laboratory.Last Date: 17 October 12
