Qualification : Students who expect to complete their M.Sc., Integrated M.Sc. or .E./B.Tech./M.E./M.Tech. degrees by August 2013 with 55% marks or more. Candidates qualified in Physics subject in JEST scoring 96 percentile and above, and/or Physics subject in GATE scoring 96 percentile and above, and/or UGC-CSIR-NET for Junior Research Fellowship will be exempted from the screening test but they have to fill the online application .
Fellowship : The stipend of a JRF is Rs. 16,000/- pm, and of a SRF is Rs. 18,000/- pm in addition to an annual book grant and medical facilities.
Selection Procedure : The selection procedure will involve: a screening test, and personal interview at IIA, Bangalore for those candidates shortlisted in the screening test.
Interested candidates should apply online. closing date Saturday, 21 November 2012. The Admission (written) test will be held on : Saturday 15 December 2012, 10:00 a.m
