PGIMS - Sr Resident/ Demonstrator

Applications are invited for the following vacant posts in Pt. B.D. Sharma Postgraduate Institute of Medical Sciences (PGIMS), Rohtak on the prescribed form obtainable from HDFC Bank, Delhi Road, Model Town, Rohtak



Post:
1.Sr Resident
2.Demonstrator (Basic Sciences)
Qualification:
MBBS from any Institution/ University recognized by the MCI. ii) MD/MS/DNB in the subject concerned. In case the candidates having MD/MS qualification are not available, the persons having Diploma in the subject concerned OR training experience of more than three years as PG student in the subject will be considered. iii) Must be registered under the State/Central Medical Registration Act. Those students, who are doing MD/MS Course in the speciality concerned, on selection as Sr.Resident, will have to discontinue their MD/MS Degree course before iv) MBBS from any Institution/ University recognized by the MCI. v) Must be registered under the State/ Central Medical Registration Act.vi) Preference will be given to a postgraduate candidate. In the subjects of Anatomy, Biochemistry, Physiology, Pharmacology and Microbiology, candidates possessing M.Sc. (Medical) qualifications in the subject concerned are also eligible to apply.

3.Demonstrator in Bio-technology & Molecular Medicine
Qualification:
MBBS / M.Sc. in Biochemistry/ Pharmacology/ Microbiology. Genetics or Human Genetics/ Biophysics/ Immunology/ Biotechnology from a recognized university/ institute Desirable: 1) Laboratory experience in molecular biology and cell culture work . 2) Working knowledge of scientic and bioinformatics/ computational softwares. 3) Expertise in Scientific documentation and research presentation and ability to teach and provide training to postgraduate/ undergraduate students. 4) Excellent Academic/ Scholastic record, aptitude for research and preferably a higher medical/ research or teaching qualification.

Age:
i) For Category I ,II : Not less than 22 years or not more than 40 years.
ii) The benefit of reservation including the benefit of relaxation in upper age limit in respect of candidates belonging to SC/ST, BC, ESM etc. will be as per Haryana Govt. instructions issued from time to time and is restricted to Haryana domiciles only.

i) The qualifications , experience, age etc. will be counted upto the date of interview.
ii) Number of posts are liable to increase or decrease on either way, including complete withdrawal
iii) The applications received after the closing date will not be considered.
iv) The candidates who wish to apply for more than one specialities, they should submit separate application form for each speciality
v) Adequate knowledge of Hindi is essential.
vi) The abbreviation GC stands for General Category, SC/ST for Scheduled Castes/Tribes, BC for Backward Classes, PH for Physically Handicapped and E.S.M. for Ex-serviceman.
