MRPL - Graduate Apprentice Engineers (BE/B.Tech)

MRPL invites applications from final year Engineering students passing out in 2012 or
passed out in 2012 for engagement as Graduate Apprentice Engineers under the Apprentice
Act 1961, in the following disciplines as mentioned in table below:



Department :
1.Chemical
Qualification:
Graduate degree in Chemical Engineering

2.Mechanical
Qualification:
Graduate Degree in Mechanical Engineering

3.Electrical
Qualification:
Graduate Degree in Electrical Engineering

4.Instrumentation
Qualification:
Graduate Degree in Instrumentation / E&C Engineering

1) The period of Apprenticeship training would be for one year duration.
2) General candidates should score 65% marks in qualifying degree examination, whereas SC/ST/OBC(Non Creamy layer) candidates must score 40% in qualifying degree
examination(In case of candidates awaiting final semester results are shortlisted and
engaged, their engagement will be subject to the candidate securing prescribed
percentage failing which the engagement will be terminated). Wherever CGPA/OGPA or
letter grade in a degree is awarded, its equivalent percentage of marks must be indicated in the application as per norm adopted by the University/Institute. All the qualifications specified should be recognized by UGC/AICTE.
3) For the purpose of eligibility, Percentage of marks should be the aggregate of all semesters i.e. total marks obtained over total maximum marks of all semesters over the 4 years in the Bachelor’s Degree Examination.
4) The short listing of candidate’s clearing the written test/interview of MRPL will be provisional subject to the candidates obtaining the minimum qualifying percentage as mentioned at Point 2 & 3 above in the engineering degree examination and also subject to passing the medical examination.

Candidates are required to apply ON-LINE by logging on to www.mrpl.co.in ,
click on careers and click on following URL for application forms
http://jobs.mrpl.co.in/advt45/ and apply on-line. After submission of online
application, online receipt will be generated which has to be downloaded by the
candidate. The candidates are required to send the acknowledgement slip with
affixed photograph along with Xerox copy of educational (from matriculation
onwards)certificates /caste certificate, to , DGM(HR) , Mangalore Refinery &
Petrochemicals Limited, Post Kuthethur, Mangalore-575030 latest by 28/09/12.
Applications send by email or hand delivery will not be entertained.
Candidates are requested to retain a photo copy of acknowledgement slip for their record.
Commencement of On-line applications: 15/08/12, Time: 10.00.am.
Last date for submission of On-line applications: 14/09/12, Time: 1800 hrs.
Last date for receipt of documents along with on-line acknowledgement slip : 28/09/12.
The candidates are required to apply on-line which is mandatory by clicking the

applying on-line, will not be accepted and will be summarily rejected.
