Madhya Pradesh Poorv Kshetra Vidyut Vitaran Company Limited, Jabalpur has been
incorporated to undertake activities of distribution of electricity in the Eastern part of M.P. invites applications from the eligible candidates for appointment of A.E. (Electrical-Contract) as per the following detail :-

Qualification:
The candidate should possess a degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical and Electronics Engineering from a University recognized by University Grants Commission or AICTE, with minimum 60% marks in aggregate in case of Unreserved or OBC category candidates and 50% in case of SC or ST category candidates.Experience: The candidate should have minimum one year work experience in electricity distribution and management like survey, erection and commissioning of overhead lines,transformers etc. upto 33 KV voltage level and related works as being performed by the Company as on 30.06.2012. Application without requisite minimum experience shall not be entertained.

Age Limit : 21-30 yrs as on n 30/06/2012

Application Fee:
Fee for Unreserved / OBC category candidates shall be Rs.300/- plus Rs. 60/- portal charges. No application fee except Rs. 60/- portal charges shall be charged from SC / ST category candidates belonging to any state.

SELECTION PROCESS:-
The selection of candidates will be done purely on merit basis.
The merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained in B.E. / B.Tech. (Electrical or Electrical and Electronics) and as per requirement of the Company. They shall be engaged on contract basis based on this merit list.
The merit list for A.E. (Electrical-Contract) shall be prepared in the following manner:-
a) For BE / B. Tech. or equivalent category of candidates by taking the aggregate percentage marks obtained in degree up to two decimal digits after rounding off the third digit first.
b) If there is more than one applicant with the same cut off percentage then the merit list shall be prepared in order of date of birth in descending order i.e. the candidate having the same percentage but older in age shall be shortlisted first and thereafter the candidate younger in age but securing the same percentage shall be shortlisted next and so on.
c) Merit list will remain valid up to the end of the financial year 2012-13.

a. Applications shall be received through M.P. online (www.mponline.gov.in) only. To go online, please log on to the website www.mpez-electricity-discom.nic.in to submit the online application format.
b. Application fee for Unreserved / OBC category candidates shall be Rs.300/- plus Rs. 60/- portal charges.
c. No application fee except Rs. 60/- portal charges shall be charged from SC / ST category candidates belonging to any state.
d. The application can also be submitted through MP Online Kiosk and the payment can be made in cash to Kiosk. The portal charges shall be Rs. 60/- per application for all categories.
e. No extra charge shall be payable for scanning of photograph etc. to Kiosk apart from the portal charges.
f. The reservation is meant for SC, ST, OBC and Physically Handicapped category candidates only having Madhya Pradesh domicile.
g. Forms are to be submitted only online through mp-online portal. No application by any other means shall be entertained.
