IIT Bombay - Research Engineer/ Research Assistant

Positions of Research Engineer (RE), Project Engineer (PE), Research Assistant (RA1), are available in the following projects.



Post:
Research Engineer:
B.E./B.Tech. in CS/IT. Must have qualified GATE in CS. Good conceptual as well as practical knowledge of compiler construction. Must have done some implementations using lex/yacc. Knowledge of GCC internals is essential. Should have added passes to GCC.Should have some knowledge of pointer analysis.

Research Assistant:
BE/B Tech in Mechanical, Chemical, or equivalent engineering. Different technical activities related to design, specifications, simulator preparation, procurement, erection and commissioning, testing, operation and maintenance etc.

The positions are temporary initially for a period of one year and tenable only for the duration of project. The selection committee may offer lower or higher designation and lower or higher salary depending upon the experience and performance of the candidate in the interview.
