IIT Bombay - Jr. Mechanic

Applications are invited in prescribed format for the following temporary posts for a period of three years.
The selected candidates may be considered for appointment on a permanent basis subject to an assessment.



Post:
1. Junior Mechanic in the Deptt. of Civil Engineering
Qualification:
Diploma in Civil Engg./Construction Engg./Mechanical Engg./Electrical Engg./Electronics Engg./ Instrumentation Engg. of three years duration.

2. Junior Mechanic in the Deptt. of Energy Science & Engg.
Qualification:
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering of three years duration. Knowledge of computer applications.

3.Junior Mechanic in the Deptt. of Energy Science & Engg.
Qualification:
Diploma in Electrical Engineering of three years duration. Knowledge of computer applications.

4. Junior Mechanic in the Office of the Dean (IPS)
Qualification:
Diploma in Mechanical Engg./Air con systems of three years duration. Assisting in operating and maintenance of the installed air con facilities across the campus and carrying out other maintenance related jobs as per requirement of the Section.

Age limit : 30 years (relaxation for PH/Ex Service man as per rules)

Applications with full particulars quoting advertisement No. H24/
1213 together with a Demand Draft of Rs.50/( No application fee for PH & Woman candidates) drawn in favour of Registrar, IIT Bombay payable on SBI, Powai, Mumbai and copies of certificates/testimonials, caste (latest noncreamy layer certificate is
essential) etc. should reach the Registrar, IIT Bombay, Powai, Mumbai400 076 on or before 27 th August , 2012.
