Assam Rifles - Recruitment Rally

Assam Rifles recruitment rally will be held at Dimapur (Nagaland), NRS-Dimapur and Lokhra (Assam), {NRS-Tezpur/NRS-Rangapara (NORTH)} from 25 Sep 2012 onwards for enrolment to 719 vacancies (male candidates) from following States for the posts mentioned against each :-



Trade:
1.Naib Subedar (Religious Teachers)
Educational Qualification:
Graduation with Madhyama in Sanskrit or Bhusan in Hindi and Candidate to pass practical departmental test in the profession trade.

2.Naib Sebedar (Bridge and Road ) Junior Commission Officer
Educational Qualification:
Matric or equivalent from a recognized Board or University and Diploma in civil Engineering from a recognized Institution or Bridge and Road.

4.Black Smith
Educational Qualification:
Matric pass and Diploma/ITI cert from recognized institution.

5.Metal Smith
Educational Qualification:
Matric or 10th class pass and diploma /ITI certificate from recognized institution.

6.Plumber
Educational Qualification:
Matric or 10Th class pass nad Diploma/ITI cert from recognized institution.

7.Electrician
Educational Qualification:
Matric or 10th Class pass and possess ITI cert in the grade.

8.Nursing Assistant
Educational Qualification:
Matric with, English, Mathematics and Science with Biology

9.Operation Room Assistant
Educational Qualification:
Martic with English, Math & Science with Biology.

10.Line Man Field
Educational Qualification:
Matric Pass with ITI cert on the trade.

11.Electrical Fitter Signal
Educational Qualification:
Matric or 10th class pass with English, Math and Science with Physics.

12.Operator Radio Line
Educational Qualification:
Matric with English, Math & Science with Physics.

13.Upholster
Educational Qualification:
Matric or 10th class pass and ITI cert in the grade.

14.Vehicle Mechanic (Motor Vehicle)
Educational Qualification:
Matriculation with English, Math and Science and Diploma/ITI certificate from recognized institution.

15.Electrician (Mechanic Vehicle)
Educational Qualification:
Matriculation with English, Math and Science and Diploma/ITI certificate from recognized institution.

16.Armourer
Educational Qualification:
Matriculation with English, Math and Science.

Physical Standard :
(a) Height. Minimum height of candidates falling in the categories of Garhwalis, Kumaonis, Gorkhas, Dogras, Marathas and candidates belonging to the States of Sikkim, Nagaland, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Tripura, Meghalaya, Assam, Himachal Pradesh, Kashmir and Leh & Ladakh regions of J & K will be 165 cms. The minimum height for Scheduled Tribes will be 162.5 cms.
(b) Chest. The Minimum chest of candidates falling in the categories of Garhwalis, Kumaonis, Gorkhas, Dogras, Marathas and candidates belonging to the States of Sikkim, Nagaland, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Tripura, Mizoram, Meghalaya, Assam, Himachal Pradesh, Kashmir and Leh & Ladakh regions of J & K will be 78 cms (minimum 5 cms expansion). The minimum chest for all candidates belonging to Scheduled Tribes will be 76 cms (minimum 5 cms expansion).
(c) Others. 170 cms (Height), 80-85 cms (Chest) & Weight according to height and age.

Age : Between 18 to 23 years as on 1st Aug 2012

How to Apply:
Candidates shall submit their applications by 08 Sep 2012 as per the attached format to the address mentioned below along with a Demand Draft for Rs. 50/- (Rupees fifty only) in favour of the Directorate General Assam Rifles payable at SBI DGAR, Shillong, Code No. 7338. Applications received thereafter i.e. 08 Sep 2012 will not be entertained. SC and ST candidates are exempted from application fee. No cash/postal order will be accepted.
