Zoological Survey of India - JRF/ Field Collector cum Asst

Walk in for interview for the following temporary posts for the Project entitled
“Improving the quality of reefs through Coral Transplantation/Restoration at Gulf
of Kachchh – A Community based sustainable approach” initially for three years,
which may continue for another one year.



Post:
Junior Research Fellow
Educational qualification:
M.Sc., Zoology/Marine Biology or Equivalent with minimum of 55% aggregate mark from a recognized University

Desirable qualification:
Research experience in Marine Environment. Experience in Swimming/ Diving. Working
knowledge of Computer.

Field Collector cum Assistant
Educational qualification:
Graduate in any branch of Biological sciences.

Desirable qualification:
Experience in Marine Environment. Experience in Swimming/ Diving. Working knowledge of Computer.

Date and Place of Interview : 13th August 2012 at 10 30 hrs at the office of Chief
Conservator of Forests, Marine National Park, “Van Sankul”, Near Nagnath Gate,
Jamnagar – 361001, Gujarat (Contact person: Chandresh S. Dave, Marine Biologist

1. Candidates age shall not be more than 28 years as on 1st AUGUST 2012. Upper
age limit may be relaxed up to 5 years, as in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST.
2. Candidates should bring the duly filled-in applications addressed to The Director,
Zoological Survey of India, New Alipore, Kolkata, with attested copies of
testimonials, educational qualifications, research experience, proof for date of
birth etc., along with copies of mark sheets of all examinations and ‘No Objection
Certificate’ from present employer (if employed). All original documents should
be produced at the time of interview.
3. No travel expenses will be paid to the candidates.
