Project Trainees [Library Information Management (LIM)]
Minimum educational qualification:
A Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline followed by M.L.I.Sc. or Master’s Degree in any discipli ne with B.L.I.Sc. or Associate shi p in Documentation and Information Science awarded by DRTC / NISCAIR or its equivalent.

Project Trainee [Electronic Resource Management (ERM)]
BE/B.Tech. in Computer Science or Electronics or Information Technology or MCAFor (a) and (b) above: The General/OBC applicants should have secured a minimum of First Class or equivalent as declared by the university in the qualifying examination. SC applicants with a pass class will also be considered.

Junior Project Trainee
Job Oriented Course (JOC) in Li brary & Information Science (10+2) awarded by State Council of Vocational Education or Diploma in Library and Information Science (10+2+2) awarded by the Department
of Technical Education. The General/OBC applicants should have secured a minimum of first class or equival ent as decl ared by the Council/Board in the qualifying examination.

Applicants who are desirous of being considered strictly on the aforesaid conditions may complete the following steps (a) Visit the website mentioned above and complete the online application form and (b) print the completed form, paste passport size photograph, sign the same and mail it along with photocopies of all certificates pertaining to required educational qualification, marks cards/certificates of date of birth, caste certificate in case of SC, OBC (certificate should be in the format prescribed for jobs under Govt. of India), Medical certificate in the prescribed format prescribed in case of Physically Handicapped issued by the Competent Medical Authority for the purpose of employment, to the ASSISTANT REGISTRAR, UNIT IB, INDIAN INSTITUTE OF SCIENCE, BANGALORE – 560012, super scribing on the envelope ‘Application for the post of PROJECT TRAINEE / JUNIOR PROJECT TRAINEE IN THE LIBRARY’.
