RAILTEL CORPORATION OF INDIA LIMITED, a premier Public Sector Undertaking under Ministry of Railways has been incorporated in September 2000. RailTel is a telecom infrastructure provider and has been set up primarily to modernize and augment the existing infrastructure for providing communication facilities for Railways and other
commercial users.



Manager(P&A) (E-2 level):
Minimum Essential Qualifications:
Masters in Business Administration (Human Resources /Personnel Management) or Post
Graduate Program in Management in HRM/PM (two- year full-time regular course) or
equivalent qualification, obtained from a recognized university/ deemed university
incorporated by an Act of Parliament or State Legislature in India or from institutions recognized/approved by AICTE or any other accrediting organisations under the Government of India with an post-qualification experience of minimum two years in a reputed organization. Here „Equivalent‟ means the full-time Post Graduate Programmes of duration of two years certified to be equivalent to MBA degree by accrediting Institutions under the Government of India in the area of management education.

Dy. Mgr(Tech) (E-1 level):

Full-time regular Degree in BE/B.Tech in Electronics & Communications or Electronics or Electrical or Electrical & Electronics or Instrumentation & Electronics or Computer Engineering or Computer Science or Information Technology obtained from a recognized university/ deemed university incorporated by an Act of Parliament or State Legislature in India or from institution recognized/approved by AICTE or any other accrediting organisations under the Government of India with minimum 60% marks in aggregate (average of all semesters/years).

Dy Mgr (Marketing) (E-1 level)

Full time regular Degree in BE/B.Tech./B.Sc. alongwith MBA (Mktg/ IT/ Telecom) or Post Graduate Programme in Management (Mktg/ IT/ Telecom) i.e. (two year full-time regular course) or equivalent qualification, obtained from a recognized university/ deemed university incorporated by an Act of Parliament or State Legislature in India or from institutions recognized/approved by AICTE or any other accrediting organisations under the Government of India. Here „Equivalent‟ means the full-time Post Graduate Programmes of duration of two years certified to be equivalent to MBA degree by accrediting institutions under the Government of India in the area of management education.

Dy.Manager(P&A) (E-1 level)

AGE LIMITS:
The candidates must be between 21 - 28 years of age for all the posts on the date of closing of on-line registration. Relaxation in upper age limit for SC/ST/OBC/PWD for filling of reserved posts shall be as under

Selection:
(a) Selection process involves written test of two hours duration followed by interview of the shortlisted candidates. The written test will comprise of 100 objective type questions with multiple choice answers, out of which 60 questions shall be on professional subjects and 40 questions to judge general
awareness, quantitative aptitude, logical reasoning and General English.
b) The standard of questions on professional subject will be commensurate with the specified essential professional qualification of the concerned post.
c) The examination will be conducted at Mumbai, Kolkata, Delhi, Hyderabad and Guwahati. Candidates should exercise options of the test city in the on-line application form. No change of test city/test centre will be permissible at a later date. RailTel, for administrative reasons, however, reserves the right to
direct the candidate to appear for written test at any test city other than the one chosen by the candidate.
d) Question papers shall be set in English and Hindi only.

HOW TO APPLY:
(i) Candidates are required to apply On-line through RAILTEL website in English only. No other means/mode of
submission of applications will be accepted under any circumstances. The on-line registration process
involves 2 steps for successful registration of the application.
(ii) Candidates should have a valid personal e-mail ID. It should be kept active during the currency of this
recruitment process. Registration number, password, admit card for written test and Interview call letter or any
other important communication will be sent on the same registered e-mail ID of candidate. The candidates are,
therefore, requested to check regularly their e-mail for any communication from RAILTEL. Under no
circumstances, the candidate should share/mention e-mail ID or password to/ or any other candidate / person.
Please note that the admit card for written test will not be sent by post.
(iii) Candidates should take utmost care to furnish the correct details while filling in on-line application. Any
mistake committed by the candidate shall be his/her sole responsibility. No corrections/modifications are
allowed once the online application is submitted.
