MAHAGENCO - Jr. Fire Officer/ Fireman /Jr. Security Officer

The Maharashtra State Power Generation Company Limited (MAHAGENCO), the State Power Generation of Govt.of Maharashtra and largest Power Generation in Maharashtra State requires dynamic, talented and professional persons for the following posts. F1. Jr. Fire Officer:
12th standard (H.S.C) passed (10+2 pattern) with (i) Sub officers’ course from National Fire Service College (N.F.S.C.) Nagpur, OR (ii) Fire Sub-Officer course from National Fire Academy, Vadodara, Gujarat state under the Auspices of All India Institute of local Self Govt, Mumbai OR (iii) Passing of Diploma in Fire Service Engineering from M.S.B.T.E. OR (iv) Passing of any equivalent or higher professional qualification in Fire Diploma Engineering.Experience :No Previous experience is essential.Preference will be given to experienced candidates as well as candidates coming from Disciplined Services viz. CISF/Home Guards/Police etc having / possessing Driving license & experience of Driving the HMV/ HGV/ Transport Vehicle for the period not less than 3 years.

F2. Fireman:

Must have passed 10th Std. examination of 10+2 system or equivalent qualification & passed Fireman course (for fresh candidates regular course of 6 months duration & for sponsored candidates 3 months duration course) conducted by (i) State Fire Training Center, Govt. of Maharashtra, Mumbai OR (ii) National Fire Academy, Vadodara, Gujrat State under the Auspices of All India Institute of Local Self Govt., Mumbai OR (iii) Any Govt./ Govt. recognized Institute / CISF/ Defense Services OR (iv) Any higher professional qualifications from Govt. recognized institutes. Preference will be given to candidates who passed additional qualification such as Fitter or Motor mechanic.Experience :No Previous experience is essential. Must possess valid HMV/HGV/Transport Vehicle driving license. AND To candidates coming from disciplined services viz. CISF / Home Guards / Police etc. General health condition should be sufficient enough capable of undergoing long physical strain resulting from the acts such as fire fighting and rescue of persons trapped.

S1. Jr. Security Officer :

Degree of a recognized university.No Previous experience is essential.Preference will be given to experienced candidates as well as candidates coming from Disciplined Services viz. Defence / CISF / Home Guards/ Police etc having / possessing Driving license & experience of Driving the HMV/ HGV/ Transport Vehicle for the period not less than 3 years.

Selection Procedure:
The selection process will consist of written test followed by Physical Efficiency test, Personal interview & Psychometric test. The written test will be tentatively conducted in early June-12 followed by Physical efficiency test & Interview to be conducted end of June-12.
