Applications are invited on the prescribed form obtainable from the College Office on payment of Rs 50/- for posts of Non-Teaching Staff in the Pay Scale mentioned against each with usual allowances permissible under Delhi University/UGC rules.



Professional Assistant (Library)
Qualification:
1. M.Lib.Sc./ M.L.I.Sc. or equivalent with 50% of marks; Or Master’s Degree in Arts/ Science/ Commerce or any other discipline with 50% and B.Lib. Sc./ B.L.I.Sc. with 50% marks
2. Computer Science paper at Graduate/ PG level or 6 months computer science course from a recognized institution.

Age Limit: - 35 years

Semi Professional Assistant – (Library)
Qualification:
1. Must be Graduate in Arts/ Science/ Commerce or any other higher qualification with 50% marks.
2. B.Lib./ B.L.I.Sc. with 50 % marks.
3. Course in computer application at Graduate or PG level or 6 months Computer Course from a recognized Institution.

Age Limit: - 35 years

Junior Library & Information Assistant (JLIA)
Qualification:
1. Must have passed Sr. Secondary or equivalent examination conducted by State Board of Education/ University/ Govt. recognized Institutions. 2. Certificate course in Library Science/ Library & Information Science from a recognized Institution.
3. Computer Course at Sr. Secondary Level or Basic Course in Computer Science/ Word
Processing from a recognized Institution.

Age Limit: - 30 years

JACT (Junior Assistant cum Typist)
Qualification:
1. Must have passed Sr. Secondary School Certificate (+2) or its equivalent qualification from a recognized Board/ University/ Institution with at least 50% marks or a graduate from a recognized university.
2. Candidates will be required to qualify the tests such as: i) General Intelligence ii) General Awareness iii) General English iv) Numerical Ability
3. Candidates who qualify the written test will be required to appear and pass a typing test in English at a minimum speed of @ 40 w.p.m. typing test in English or 30 w.p.m. in Hindi Typewriting through Computers

Age Limit: - 27 years

a.*{JLIA (SC-1), JACT (OBC-1, UR-1), Care taker (UR-1)}. One post is reserved for the persons with disability as per the provisions of 3% reservation provided under this category.
b.The College reserves the right to change the nature and/or number of posts advertised or not to fill up any or some of the posts if circumstances so warrant.
c.Candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/PH/Ex-servicemen category should specify their status in their application and attach certificates of proof from the competent authority.
d.Candidates serving in Government /Autonomous Bodies/PSUs etc. are required to send their applications through proper channel.
e.The application form can be obtained from the College from 09.30 a.m to 12.30 pm on working days, after payment of Rs. 50/- for each post. Candidates can also download the application form from the college website and send it along with a demand draft of Rs. 50/- drawn in favour of “ The Principal, Kalindi College” payable at New Delhi. The candidates belonging to SC/ST categories are not required to pay the application fee.
f.A separate application form is to be submitted for each post along with separate fee.
g.Incomplete application and without fee (wherever applicable) will be rejected out rightly.
h.The College reserves the right to call limited number of Candidates for written test/interview.
i.Upper age limit will be calculated on the closing date of application. Relaxation in upper age limit will be as per UGC/ Delhi University Rules.
j.The complete application form may be sent to “The Principal, Kalindi College, East Patel Nagar, New Delhi-110008”, superscribing the envelope “Application for the Post of ____________________________“ alongwith the attested copies of the documents.
k.No TA/DA will be paid for attending the prescribed test/ interview.
l.All rights about this recruitment are reserved with College and the decision of College will be final and binding to all.
m.The last date for receipt of Application Forms is 15th May, 2012.
