Applications are invited from eligible Indian citizens for short term need based engagement of 22 casual labourers (02 SC, 01 ST, 05 OBC and 14 UR) in Lok Sabha Secretariat.
Educational Qualifications:The applicant should have minimum educational qualification as 10th Pass from a Government recognized School/Institute.
Age Limit:The candidate should not be less than 18 years of age and not more than 27 years of age as on the closing date of receipt of applications.Applicant should attach a copy of the matriculation or equivalent examination certificate, attested by a Gazetted Officer or First Class Magistrate, as proof of date of birth. No other document will be accepted for this purpose.
Selection Procedure :The short listed candidates who fulfil the prescribed conditions of eligibility shall be interviewed by the Selection Committee(s) to judge their suitability for empanelment for engagement as Casual Labourers.The personal Interview will be of 25 marks. The minimum cut off percentage of marks is 50%, 45% and 40% for vacancies in GENRAL, OBC and SC/ST categories, respectively. The above percentages are relaxable by 5% in case of physically handicapped persons of relevant disability and category for appointment against the vacancy reserved for physically handicapped persons. From amongst the candidates who secure the minimum qualifying marks in the Personal Interview, the selection will be made on the basis of performance of the candidates in the Personal Interview, subject to availability of vacancies.Applications which are illegible, incomplete, not conforming to the prescribed application format and the instructions given therein or received after the last date will be summarily rejected.All particulars (except Residential Address) furnished by the applicant will be treated as final and no change will be allowed therein later on.The last date of receipt of Application is 04 June, 2012.Applications received prior to publication of this AdvertismentThe applications received in this Secretariat for casual labourer prior to publication of this advertisement will NOT be entertained.
