Indian Air Force invites application from UNMARRIED MALE INDIAN CITIZENS (citizens of Nepal are also eligible) for selection test in August 2012 to join as Airmen in Group ‘X’ (Technical) trades. THE SELECTION TEST IS NOT FOR SELECTION AS OFFICERS/ PILOTS/ NAVIGATORS.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION(a) Candidate should have passed Intermediate or 10+2 or Equivalent Examination with Mathematics, Physics and English with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.OR(b) Candidate should have passed a Three year Diploma course in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical or Electronics or Automobile or Computer Science or Instrumentation Technology or Information Technology) with at least 50% marks in overall aggregate from a Government recognized Polytechnic Institute.

SELECTION PROCEDURE:
Written Test : Eligible candidates will be sent Admit Cards to appear for test scheduled to be held during August 2012 at the examination centres listed at Para 19. Candidates will be tested in English, Physics and Mathematics as per CBSE syllabus of AISSCE. Question papers will be objective type and bilingual (English & Hindi), except English Paper. Duration of Written Test will be 60 minutes. CANDIDATES ARE TO QUALIFY IN EACH PAPER SEPARATELY. Results of the written test will be declared on the same day.
HOW TO APPLY:
Application Form: APPLICATION SHOULD BE IN A4 SIZE PAPER ONLY. Non standard application formats will be rejected. The following are to be sent along with the application:-(a) Three copies of unattested recent (taken on or after 25 March 2012) passport size COLOUR PHOTOGRAPH (front portrait without headgear except for Sikhs), ONE of which is to be pasted on the application form and the other two are to be stapled to the top left corner of the application form.THE PHOTOGRAPH IS TO BE TAKEN WITH CANDIDATE HOLDING A BLACK SLATE IN FRONT OF HIS CHEST WITH HIS NAME, DATE OF BIRTH AND DATE OF PHOTOGRAPH CLEARLY WRITTEN ON IT WITH WHITE CHALK IN CAPITAL LETTERS.AMBALANEW DELHIKANPURBARRACKPOREJODHPURMUMBAIBENGALURUCHENNAIBHUBANESWARBIHTA (PATNA)GUWAHATISECUNDERABADKOCHIBHOPALPhotographs should be only on good quality of “Photo Paper” (Six photographs will be required during test).(b) Attested photo copy of Matriculation Certificate in support of Date of Birth.
