Applications are invited for purely project based temporary position under MoES sponsored project entitled “Operation of permanent GPS stations for quantification of tectonic deformation field in Himalayan terrain”.



1 Junior/Senior Research/Project Fellow:
Qualification:
Ist class Masters degree in Physics/Geophysics/Earth Science/Engineering
Geology.
Or
B.Tech in Civil Engg. is essential. Experience/training of computers particularly in
Unix/Linux environment for geodetic/ GPS data processing is desirable.
Preference will be given to NET/Gate qualified candidates.

Desirable:
Experience of Working in difficult mountain conditions in relevant subjects.

Age Limit: For JRF/SRF 28/32 years, for Field Research Assistant 35 years. Relaxation for SC/ST/Women/PH and OBC as per Govt. norms.
