PGIMS - Sr Resident/ Demonstrator(MBBS /MD/ MS)

Applications are invited for the following vacant posts in Pt. B.D. Sharma Postgraduate Institute of Medical Sciences (PGIMS), Rohtak on the prescribed form obtainable from HDFC Bank, Delhi Road, Model Town, Rohtak on cash payment of Rs.500/- for General Category and Rs.125/- for Reserved Categories at the counter or crossed demand draft worth Rs.550/- for General Category and Rs.175/- for Reserved Categories in the name of the Controller of Finance, University of Health Sciences, Rohtak by post.



Post:

Sr Resident
Qualification
i) MBBS from any Institution/ University recognized by the MCI. ii) MD/MS/DNB in the subject concerned. In case the candidates having MD/MS qualification are not available, the persons having Diploma in the subject concerned OR training experience of more than three years as PG student in the subject will be considered. iii) Must be registered under the State/Central Medical Registration Act. Those students, who are doing MD/MS Course in the speciality concerned, on selection as Sr.Resident, will have to discontinue their MD/MS Degree course beforejoining as Senior Resident

Demonstrator (Basic Sciences)
Qualification
i) MBBS from any Institution/ University recognized by the MCI. ii) Must be registered under the State/ Central Medical Registration Act. iii) Preference will be given to a postgraduate candidate. In the subjects of Anatomy, Biochemistry, Physiology, Pharmacology and Microbiology, candidates possessing M.Sc. (Medical) qualifications in the subject concerned are also eligible to apply.

1. The candidates who are already in Govt./Semi-Govt./Corporation/Autonomous Body Service or doing PG Course/House Job should apply through proper channel. They should submit advance copy on the prescribed original application form, duly filled in, direct to the Director, PGIMS, Rohtak before the closing date to avoid delay but the application form (exact Photostat copy of the duly filled original application form sent direct) must reach through their employer to the Director, PGIMS, Rohtak within 15 days after the closing date. In case where the Photostat copy of the application form sent direct has not been received through proper channel or if the original application is received direct, the candidate will be interviewed only after he produces the ‘No Objection Certificate’ from his employer at the time of interview.
2. Age:
i) For Category I ,II : Not less than 22 years or not more than 40 years.
ii) The benefit of reservation including the benefit of relaxation in upper age limit in respect of candidates belonging to SC/ST, BC, ESM etc. will be as per Haryana Govt. instructions issued from time to time and is restricted to Haryana domiciles only.
3. The selected candidates should be prepared to join immediately.
4. Duration: The duration/tenure of the above posts is for a maximum period of three years only.
5. INSTRUCTIONS:
i) The qualifications , experience, age etc. will be counted upto the date of interview.
ii) Number of posts are liable to increase or decrease on either way, including complete withdrawal.
iii) The applications received after the closing date will not be considered.
iv) The candidates who wish to apply for more than one specialities, they should submit separate application form for each speciality.
v) Adequate knowledge of Hindi is essential.
vi) The abbreviation GC stands for General Category, SC/ST for Scheduled Castes/Tribes, BC for Backward Classes, PH for Physically Handicapped and E.S.M. for Ex-serviceman.
