High Court of Punjab add Haryana, Chandigarh - Superior Judicial Service

HIGH COURT OF PUNJAB AND HARYANA AT CHANDIGARH.,

Applications are invited for selection of 14 (fourteen) candidates (7 from
General Category, 5 from Scheduled Caste Category and 2 from Backward Class
Category) for appointment to Haryana Superior Judicial Service by way of direct
recruitment, in the State. of Haryana through competitive examination under Rule 6(1)(c) of Haryana Superior Judicial Service Rules, 2007.



Post :
Superior Judicial Service :

a)he/she must be a citizen of india;
b)he/she must have been duly enrolled as an Advocate and has practised for. a
period not less than seven years as on the last date of submission of applications
i.e. 31.1.2012;
(c) he/she must have attained the age of thirty five years and must not have attained
the age of forty five years as on 1st January, 2012 (in the case of Scheduled
Castes/Scheduled Tribes/Backward Classes, upper age limit is. relaxable by five
years);
d)he/she must not have more than one spouse living.
(Provided that the Governor may, if satisfied that there are special grounds for
doing so, exempt any person from the operation of this sub-rule).
e)he/she must have passed matriculation examination with Hindi as one of the
compulsoryor elective subjects or any other equivalentexaminationin Hindi
ianguage, specified by the Government from time to time.

1. The candidature of the applicants who are gainfully employed with the Central
or any State Government as Law Officers shall be subject to the outcome of
S.L.P.s pending in this regard with the Hon'ble Supreme Court.
2. The Syllabus, format of the written Examination and Instructions to the
candidates for the examination in the State of Haryana can be seen on the official
website of the High Court Le.http://highcourtchd:90v.in.
3. The applications must reach the Registrar (Recruitment), High Court of Punjab
and Haryana, Chandigarh on or before 31.1.2012 till 5.00 p.m. Incomplete
applications and applications received after 31..1.2012 shall not be entertained.
4. The selection would be on the basis of written examination of 750 marks and
viva voce test of 250 marks, to be conducted by the High Court of Punjab and
Haryana, Chandigarh. '
5. The reservation for Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe/Backward Classes shall
be in accordance with the policy/instructions issued by the Government of
Haryana from time to time. .
6. The Scheduled Caste candidate, if called for interview, shall be paid Travelling
Allowance as per relevant instructions of the Haryana Government.
7. The candidates dismissed by the Central or any State Government or their
Boards or Corporation, shall not be eligible to apply for this post.
8.The decision of the Hon'ble Recruitment to Superior Judicial Service Committee
regarding the eligibility of the candidates for admission to the examination shall be
final.
