The West Bengal Power Development Corporation Limited (WBPDCL), a wholly owned Government of West Bengal Enterprise, engaged in the business of Generation of Electricity in the State of West Bengal with employee strength of around 5000 and annual turn over in the region of Rs.5,800 crores, invites applications from Indian Nationals to fill-up the following posts.



01. Manager (HR&A):
Qualification : Graduate in any discipline with MBA ( Specialization in HR only) / P. G Degree /Diploma (2 years full time course in Personnel Management & IR) or MSW / DSW from any recognized University or reputed Institute approved by AICTE / IIMs / XLRI / IISWBM. Degree in Law will be an added advantage.
Age Limit : Age 40 years as on 31.12.2011.
02. Assistant Manager (HR&A):
Qualification : Graduate in any discipline with MBA (Specialization in HR only) / P. G Degree/ Diploma (2 years full time course in Personnel Management & IR) / MSW from any recognized University or reputed Institute approved by AICTE / IIMs / XLRI / IISWBM. Degree in Law will be an added advantage.
Age Limit : Age 33 years as on 31.12.2011.
03. Assistant Manager (Legal):
Qualification : 5 years integrated degree in Law / Graduate with LLB from any recognized University or reputed Institute approved by AICTE.
Age Limit : Age 33 years as on 31.12.2011.
04. Security Officer:
Qualification: Graduate in any discipline with at least 5 (five) years service in Defence/ Para Military Service/ Short Service Commission not below the rank of Captain / Dy. Commandant.
Age Limit : Age 40 years as on 31.12.2011.
05. Medical Officer:
Qualification: MBBS from any Institute of repute recognized by Medical Council of India. Candidate must have completed 1 (one) year internship.
Age Limit : Age 37 years as on 31.12.2011.
06. Officer-on-Special Duty (Land):
Qualification : Graduate in any discipline. Degree in Law will be preferred.
Age Limit: Not exceeding 62 years as on 31.12.2011.

Others facilities :- In addition to Basic Pay (Band Pay + Grade Pay) and DA, HRA/FCA, Medical Allowance, Electricity Allowance, LTC/HTC, Gratuity, Provident Fund, Benefit of Indoor Treatment for Self & dependent(s) in reputed Hospitals, Leave Encashment and other benefits will be admissible as per rules of the Corporation for the posts under SL No.1-5.

The applicant working in Govt. / Semi-Govt. / PSU should apply through proper channel. The last date of receipt of complete application is 27.12.2011.
