A Walk-in Interview will be held on 19.12.2011(Monday) at 10.00 A.M for recruiting Two Senior Research Fellow (SRF) for the National Agriculture Development Programme (NADP) Scheme on “Value added dairy food manufacturing unit to maximize the returns from dairy farming” functioning at the Department of Dairy Science, Veterinary College and Research Institute, Namakkal -637 002.
The post is purely on temporary basis and need based and they should not claim any regular employment at a later date. The service is liable to be terminated at any time without assigning any reasons thereof. The service of the persons so engaged will automatically stand terminated with the termination of the project. The duration of the project is for one year.

Minimum Qualifications:
1.M.V.Sc in Dairy Science, Livestock Products Technology, Livestock Production Management, Animal Production and other related disciplines.
2.M.Sc in Dairy Science, Food Science, Food Technology, Food Microbiology, Food Processing, and other related disciplines.
Desirable :
1. Candidates with an OGPA of 3.5 / 4.0 (or) 8.0 / 10.0 or above (or) First class or equivalent grade/ marks will be preferred.
2. Candidates with post graduate degree in Veterinary Sciences and candidates with Ph.D., degree in the mentioned non veterinary subjects will be given preference.
3. Candidates having research experience in a reputed laboratory / institute and capable of handling analytical equipments, computer and statistical analysis software will be an added advantage.
Age limit:
The maximum age limit is 35 years as on Date of Interview (relaxable as per government norms for SC/ST/MBC/BC candidates)
