IIT Madras - Chief Security Officer/Asst Caretaker

Post:
1.Chief Security Officer
Qualification and Experience:
A Bachelor’s degree with experience as an Officer not below the rank of Deputy Superintendent of Police in the Central Government or any State Government / Major of the Army or equivalent rank in Navy / Air Force.
Should have sufficient experience to control the administrative and operational set up of the entire security organization of the Institute.
Upper Age Limit : 55 years

2.Assistant Caretaker
Qualification & Experience:
Graduate/Diploma in Hotel Management & Catering Technology preferred with at least four years/six years experience respectively as Steward/Manager/Caretaker in a residential establishment (vegetarian and Non-vegetarian) like staff hostel/Guest House/Reputed Hotel. Conversant with work relating to Catering to parties, maintenance of stores and accounts. General and Technical qualifications relaxable for highly experienced and otherwise talented candidates. Working knowledge of foreign language desirable.
Upper Age limit : 45 years

* The post is permanent. However the selected candidate may also
be offered the post on contract basis.
* Applications will also be considered on deputation basis

The cover must be superscribed “Requisition for application form for the post of ________________”.
Completed application along with the photocopies of educational/experience certificates should be sent to the Registrar, Indian Institute of Technology Madras, Chennai – 600 036 in a cover superscribed “Application for the post of ________________________”. Application from those in service must be routed through their present employer.
The last date for receipt of completed application form is 25.01.2012.
