CGCRI - Project Asst(BSc)

Central Glass and Ceramic Research Institute (CGCRI), one of the foremost laboratories in the family of the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research was formally inaugurated on August 26, 1950 by Dr. B.C. Ray, the then Chief Minister of West Bengal in presence of eminent personalities : Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee, Prof. C.V. Raman, Dr. Meghnad Saha and others. Dr. S.S. Bhatnagar was then Director-General of CSIR while Dr. Atma Ram was Director of the Institute.



Project Title: “An investigation on the effect of solution based inorganic thin film coatings on glazed ceramic tiles.”(Gujcost Sponsored) GAP 1215.

Qualifications: B.Sc Chemistry (3 years course) with minimum 50% marks. In case of
SC/ST candidates these criteria shall be relaxed by 5%.
Age: 25 years (Upper limit), relaxable for SC/ST/ OBC as per GOI rules.
Stipend: Rs. 8000/-p.m (Consolidated).
Tenure: Upto July 2013.
