THE MAHARASHTRA STATE ELECTRICITY TRANSMISSION CO. LTD., State Transmission utility of Maharashtra and one of the largest transmission utilities in the State operating about 38068 CKT KM transmission lines, 536 EHV Sub-Stations and having transformation capacity of 82619 MVA invites applications from dynamic, talented and professional persons for the following posts


Team Leader:
B.E.(Computer Engineering) / B. Tech. (Computer/IT) / B.E. (Information Technology).
Minimum 5 years experience in computer programming, developing software, application and database administration with Oracle, MS-SQL server and development tools, window programme and RDBMS is essential.


System Analyst
B.E. (Computer Engineering)/ B.Tech. (Computer/IT)/ B.E.(Information Technology).
Minimum 3 years experience in ERP enabled office environment.

Jr. Engineer (Trans) - Trainee
Degree in Electrical / Electrical & Power Engineering / Technology of a University or Institute in India established or incorporated by or under a Central Act or a State Act or any other qualification recognized as equivalent thereto.


Jr. Engineer (Civil) - Trainee
Degree in Civil Engineering / Technology of a University or Institute in India established or incorporated by or under a Central Act or a State Act or any other qualification recognized as equivalent thereto.

Dy. Executive Engineer (Trans)
1) Degree in Electrical Engineering / Technology of a recognized University / Institute.
2) Preferable: Two years full time or three years Part Time Post Graduate Degree in Engineering / Management / Administration with specialization in Finance or Marketing or Human Resources Development or Material Management or Operational Research or I.T. of a recognized University or Institute.
 Must possess post qualification relevant experience in Power sector of not less than 5 years, out of which 3 years should be in the field of Transmission side.
 In case of Post graduation in Engineering / Management, requirement of total experience shall be 3 years, out of which 2 years should be in the field of Transmission side


Steno Typist (English)
S.S.C or its equivalent. Graduate preferred. A minimum speed of 80 w.p.m. in Shorthand and 40 w.p.m. in Typing
No experience is necessary for those possessing Govt. Commercial Certificates. Minimum 2 years experience for other possessing certificates from other recognized Institutions.
