ICMR - Technical Assistant(IT/Statistics)

NATIONAL INSTITUTE FOR RESEARCH IN TUBERCULOSIS - INDIAN COUNCIL OF MEDICAL RESEARCH
Applications are invited upto 21st November 2011 for the following posts of Technical Cadre at the ICMR’s National Institute for Research in Tuberculosis, Epidemiology Unit, Chennai:


Technical Officer – A (Statistics):
Three years Graduate Degree in Statistics/Biostatistics with 5 years of experience
in handling medical / public health data
(or) Three years Graduate Degree in Mathematics / Statistics with diploma in Computer science /Computer Applications from a recognized University/ Institute with 3 years
experience

1. MSc / PhD in Statistics/ Biostatistics
2. Experience in using statistical software


Technical Officer – A (Information Technology):
Three years Graduate Degree in Information Technology / Computer Science/ Computer Applications with 5 years of experience
(or) Three years Graduate Degree in Mathematics / Statistics with diploma in Computer science /Computer Applications from a recognized University/ Institute with 3 years
experience

MSc/ PhD in Information Technology /Computer Science/ Mathematics / Statistics


Technical Assistant (Statistics:
Three years Graduate Degree in Statistics/ Biostatistics with 2 years experience
(or) Three years Graduate Degree in Mathematics with two years diploma in Statistics /Biostatistics from a recognized university / institute

1. MSc Statistics / Mathematics with Statistics
2. Experience in handling medical data and data processing


Technical Assistant (Information Technology):
Three years Graduate Degree in Information Technology / Computer Science / Computer
Applications/Mathematics / Statistics with 2 years experience
(or) Three years Graduate Degree in Mathematics / Statistics with two years diploma in Computer Applications /Computer Science/ Information Technology from a recognized
university / institute

MSc Information Technology / Computer Science / Computer Applications / Mathematics ,
Statistics with Diploma in Computers


Technical Assistant (Laboratory):
Three years Graduate Degree in Life Science with 2 years experience
(or) Three years Graduate Degree in Life science with two years diploma in Medical Lab Technology from a recognized university /institute

MSc degree in Life sciences with experience in handling clinical samples



Technical Assistant (Field):
Three years Graduate Degree with 2 years experience in field surveys
(or) Three years Graduate Degree in Life science with two years diploma in Medical Lab Technology from a recognized university / institute

Post graduate degree with experience in health / disease surveys



Application forms may be downloaded from the websites www.icmr.nic.in, www.trc-chennai.org and duly filled in forms in all aspects and signed by the applicant should be sent to the Office of The Director –in-Charge, National Institute for Research in Tuberculosis, Epidemiology Unit, No.1, Mayor Sathiyamoorthy Road, Chetput, Chennai – 600 031 on or before the closing date along with duly attested copies of the certificates in support of date of birth, educational qualification, experience etc and a Demand Draft (DD) for Rs.100/- (Rupees One Hundred only) towards application fee (non refundable) in favour of “The Director, National Institute for Research in Tuberculosis, Chennai”.
