IIITD&M - Ph. D ADMISSION

The Indian Institute of Information Technology, Design and Manufacturing, Kancheepuram (IIITD&M) was established in 2007 by the Government of India as a Centre of Excellence in the emerging areas of Design and Manufacturing. The IIITD&M is functioning in its permanent campus located in Melakkattiyur Village near Vandalur - Kelambakam Road, Chennai. This research cum residential campus is about 30 km from Chennai’s International Airport


ABOUT RESEARCH PROGRAMMES The Institute offers Ph.D. programmes in the disciplines of Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mathematics, Mechanical Engineering and Physics. Strong expertise exists among the faculty on both the theoretical and experimental methods of research

Selection Procedure: Eligible candidates possessing the minimum educational qualifications (as given in Section 5) and satisfying additional and stiffer criteria set by the institute from time to time will be called for test/ interview. Based on the academic record and the performance of the candidates in the interview and/or test, the Selection Committee will recommend to the Chairman, Academic Advisory Committee the names of candidates found suitable for admission to the Ph.D. programme.
