by Department of Science and Technology (DST), New Delhi as mentioned below:
Field (Lab) Assistant
QUALIFICATIONS
1. Any degree or diploma holder with experience in field and or laboratory work
OR
2. Intermediate pass with 2-3 years of experience in field work or handling office/
laboratory works.
AND
3. Should have experience in the following tasks
i. Field work that requires growing plants and ability to follow PIs instructions in
carrying out field experiments ii. Glasshouse and laboratory cleaning and maintenance; purchase of fertilizers and soil, weeding and watering plants.
iii. Washing glassware in the laboratory and operating autoclaves
iv. Making laboratory media and culture plates; mycobaterial and fungal cultures
and computer handling
v. Document or paper work for equipment and chemical ordering
Last date for the receipt of the applications is Monday, 31.10.2011 before 5:00 pm and e-mail facility.
