Advertisement for the Post of Project Associate in the Department of Civil Engineering
Project Associate Position is available in the Department of Civil Engineering at IIT Hyderabad. Selected candidates will be involved in modeling and experimental research in the field of geotechnical engineering. The project is on ‘Reinforced Granular Beds in lieu of Approach Slabs for Bridge Abutments’ and is funded by ‘Ministry of Road Transport & Highways’
Selection will be based on interview of screened candidates.
Post Duration: 1 year contract (can be extended up to another year based on candidate’s performance)
Salary: Rs 15,000 per month (consolidated)
Due date for application: 31 October 2011
Requirements:
The applicant should have completed B Tech degree in Civil engineering. Overall percentage of marks in B.Tech. should be greater than 60 % or CGPA > 6.0. Applicants with M.Tech. degree in geotechnical engineering are preferred.
