ADVERTISEMENT FOR THE POST OF STUDENTSHIP AND TRAINEESHIP
The Centre for Bioinformatics of Pondicherry University, fully funded by the Department of Biotechnology, Govt. of India invites applications for Studentship and Traineeship in various areas of Bioinformatics.
Duration: Initially for a period of six months, extendable up to one year.
Mode of Selection: Short listed candidates will be called for an interview.
Emoluments: Rs.5,000/- per month
Minimum Qualifications: The candidates must have a Post Graduate Degree in Bioinformatics / Life Sciences / Biotechnology / Physics Sciences / Chemical Sciences / Computer Science or B.Tech Degree in Bioinformatics / Computer Science.
Interested candidates may send their applications superscribed “Application for the post of Studentship/Traineeship” including a detailed curriculum vitae and names of two references (with e-mail address and fax number) to Dr. P.P. Mathur, Centre Head, Centre for Bioinformatics, Pondicherry University, Pondicherry – 605 014 along with proposed project plan on or before 05.09.2011 by post. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
