Applications are invited for the post of Senior Project Associate (SPA) in a Project under RSOP Central Power Research Institute (CPRI), Ministry of Power, Govt. of India on “ Stabilization of AC/DC Network with Unified Power Flow Controller” with a salary of Rs. 15,000/- per month + HRA as admissible in central government. The project has been sanctioned initially for 2 years and may be extended depending on the further requirements.
Job requirements: SPA has to carry out research on the above mentioned topic with the responsibility of analysis and design of various components of HVDC and UPFC both in ITBHU and CPRI, Bangalore. He has to prepare report on the investigations as & when required. Also, he has to work under full administrative control of PI.
Qualifications: Candidate must possess B.Tech & M.Tech. Degree with specialization in Power Systems/Power Electronics. A candidate with adequate background of HVDC and FACTS controllers will be given preference.
