Qualification : 

i) Good accademic record as defined by the concerned university with atleast 55 % of the marks ( for an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grsding system is followed) at the Master's Degree level in the relevant subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from on accredited foreign University. 

ii) Besides fulfilling the above qualifications candidates should have cleared National eligibility Test (NET) for lecturers conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited by UGC likeSLET/NET.

iii) Notwithstanding anything containedin sub-clauses i)and ii) above, candidates, who are or have been awarded a Ph.D degree in accordance with the University Grands Commission (Minimum standards andprocedure for award of Ph.D Degree) Regulation, 2009 shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NET/SLET/SET for recruitment and appointment of Asst. Professor or equivalent positions Universities/ Colleges/Institutions.

iv)Without prejudice to the abpve, NET/SLET/SET shall also not be required for such Masters Prohrammes in disciplines for which NET/SLET/SET not conducted

Candidates should apply in the prescribed format the payment of Rs. 150/- to deposited in Cash Section, Finanace Officer, AMU, Aligargh, along with duly filled employment form complete in all respect to Dean's Office, Faculty of Social Sciences, AMU Last date of receipt of application is 30/11/2012 till 12.30 A.M
