Government Medical College, Chandigarh - Senior Resident

The Government of India, Director General Health Services, Ministry of Health &
Family Welfare has approved under the centrally sponsored scheme for “Up-gradation of facilities in the Department of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation in Government Medical College & Hospital, Chandigarh.



POST:
3. Senior Resident

Essential qualifications:
(i) A basic University or equivalent qualification included in any one of the Schedules to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956) and must
be registered in a State Medical Register or Indian Medical Register;
(ii) MD (PMR)/DPMR or equivalent in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PMR) from government recognized institute.

UPPER AGE LIMIT AS ON 01.01.2012 : 33 years in case of postgraduates and 35 years in
case of post doctoral degree holders.

(i) The above vacancies/categories indicative above are only tentative and are liable to change as per requirement.
(ii) Those candidates, who are employed in Central Government/State
Government/UTs/Statutory Bodies/Research Institutes etc., should send their application alongwith Service/No Objection Certificate from the employer Through Proper Channel. However, they may send an Advance Copy of their application alongwith Demand Draft of Rs.100/- (Rupees One Hundred only) and other certificates and testimonials so as to reach this office on or before the schedule date.
(iii) The applications should be submitted in a prescribed format and the applications that are not submitted in the prescribed format will not be considered.

Applications in the prescribed Application Format alongwith self attested copies of all the certificates/ testimonials and other documents, recent photograph and Demand Draft towards Application Fee in a sealed cover superscribing “Application for the post of ___________________” should reach the office of Director Principal, Room No. 228-A, Block ‘D’, Hospital Building, Government Medical College & Hospital, Sector-32-B, Chandigarh by 03.08.2012 upto 5.00 PM.
