Indian Air Force - Airman (Diploma)

Indian Air Force offers opportunities for UNMARRIED MALE INDIAN CITIZENS from designated Districts of the State of Karnataka to become airmen.The Recruitment Test for Group ‘Y’ (Non-Technical) {For Automobile Technician and Indian Air Force (Police) trades and Group ‘X’ (Technical) trades will be held at Rangamandir, Tank Bund Road, Bellary



Trade:
For Group ‘Y’ (Non-Technical) {For Automobile Technician and Indian Air Force (Police)} Trades
Qualification:
Candidate should have passed Intermediate or 10+2 or equivalent examination with Science, Arts or Commerce subjects or equivalent vocational courses with minimum 50% marks in aggregate. Vocational course should be recognized by Association of Indian Universities. OR Three year Diploma in any stream of Engineering from a Government recognised Polytechnic Institute.

For Group ‘X’ (Technical) Trades
Qualification:
Candidate should have passed Intermediate or 10+2 or equivalent examination with Mathematics, Physics and English with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate. OR Three year Diploma Course in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical or Electronics or Automobile or Computer Science or Instrumentation Technology or Information Technology) with at least 50% marks in overall aggregate from a Government recognized Polytechnic Institute.

Age Limit:
Candidates should be born between 01 July 1991 to 30 September 1995 (both days inclusive).

Domicile Requirement :
(a) To be eligible to appear in the rally at Rangamandir, Tank Bund Road, Bellary (Karnataka) the candidates must have passed the qualifying examination from the recognized Board of the State of Karnataka OR should fulfill the domicile requirements (Domicile Certificate issued by any Gazetted Officer in Revenue Department or any official authorized by the State Government of Karnataka only will be accepted). If in Intermediate or 10+2 or equivalent examination passing certificate, name of the district is not mentioned, candidate has to bring the original Domicile Certificate in which the District name is mentioned.

SELECTION PROGRAMME:
The Recruitment Test will be conducted from 7 AM onwards as per the details given below. Candidates reporting up to 10 AM at the Rally Venue will only be permitted to appear in the Recruitment Test.

The All India Select List (AISL) will be displayed at 7 Airmen Selection Centre, No.1 Cubbon Road, Bangalore (Karnataka) on 17 AUGUST 2012. A copy of the Display List will be sent to District Magistrate of Bellary (Karnataka) (through Airmen Selection Centre) and also available at Indian Air Force website www.indianairforce.nic.in. The inclusion of names of the candidates in the AISL depends upon the performance of the candidates in the Selection Test.
