Supreme Court of India - Branch Officer (System Administrator)

Applications are invited from candidates who fulfill the following qualifications and
other eligibility conditions as on 1.5.2012 for selection of suitable candidates for
appointment to one temporary ex cadre post of Branch Officer (System Administrator) and five temporary ex cadre posts of Court Assistant



Post:
Branch Officer (System Administrator)

Qualifications, Experience and other eligibility conditions for appointment on
deputation.
: Officers under the Central/State Government/
Universities/Recognised Research Institutes or any High Court :
(a) Holding analogous post on regular basis in the parent cadre/Department or With 5 years service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in Group
'B' (Gazetted) post or equivalent in the parent cadre/department.
(b) Possessing the following qualifications :
Master's Degree in Engineering/ Master of Technology in Computer Science or Information Technology from a recognised University or equivalent.
OR
Master's Degree in Computer Application/Bachelor of Engineering/Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science/ Information Technology from a recognised University or equivalent.
OR
M.Sc in Computer Science with first class or at least 60% marks in aggregate or equivalent.
OR
B.Sc in Computer Science or BCS with first Class or at least 60% marks in aggregate or equivalent.
OR
Masters degree with First Class or atleast 60% marks or equivalent with Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Science [from a Government recognized Institution/University] with First Class or atleast 60% marks or equivalent. Degree in Law from a recognised University will be preferred and considered as an additional qualification

Qualifications, experience and other eligibility conditions for appointment by direct
recruitment
: Master's Degree in Engineering/ Master of Technology in Computer Science or Information Technology from a recognised University or equivalent.
OR
Master's Degree in Computer Application/Bachelor of Engineering/Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science/Information Technology from a recognised University or
equivalent.
OR
M.Sc in Computer Science with first class or at least 60% marks in aggregate or equivalent. AND Minimum 6 years experience in the relevant field.
OR
B.Sc in Computer Science or BCS with first Class or at least 60% marks in aggregate or equivalent. AND Minimum 7 years experience in the relevant field.
OR
Masters degree with First Class or atleast 60% marks or equivalent with Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Science [from a Government recognized Institution/University] with First Class or atleast 60% marks or equivalent. AND Minimum 8 years experience in the relevant field. Degree in Law from a recognised University will be preferred
and considered as an additional qualification

Candidates who fulfill the prescribed qualifications, experience, requirement and
other eligibility conditions as on 1.5.2012 should apply giving full particulars (Bio-data) as per proforma enclosed supported by copies of all the relevant certificates and documents and a passport size photograph to be affixed on the application, all duly attested by a Gazetted Officer. Candidates who are already working in Government service should send their application through proper channel. Applications not found as per prescribed proforma and not supported by duly attested documents or attested photograph will not be entertained. Candidates who do not fulfill the prescribed qualifications and other eligibility conditions need not apply.

The applications in a separate sealed cover indicating Application for the post of
“Branch Officer (System Administrator)” and “Court Assistant (Technical Assistant-cum- Programmer)” thereon and addressed to Registrar (Admn.I), Supreme Court of India, Tilak Marg, New Delhi-110001 may be sent so as to reach him on or before 25.6.2012. Applications received after due date will not be entertained.
