The Central Electrochemical Research Institute (CECRI), Karaikudi is one of the National Laboratories of Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR) looking for young and dynamic personnel from Indian nationals for filling up the following scientific positions.



Scientist :
Qualification :
Ph.D.(Chemistry/ Chemical /Metallurgical Engineering) [thesis submitted]

Senior Scientist :
Qualification :
Ph.D.(Chemistry) with 2 years post doctoral research experience OR Ph.D (Chemical / Metallurgical Engineering)

Desirable Qualification : Research/Teaching experience in Electrochemical Science and Technology.

Online application will close at 5.30 p.m (IST) on 26.03.2012. Hard copy of online application form duly signed together with recent passport size photograph, application fee of Rs.100/- in the form of Demand Draft (if applicable) drawn on any Nationalized Bank in favour of Director, CECRI, payable at Karaikudi, with attested copies of Matriculation/SSLC as proof of age, all degree certificates for educational qualifications & copies of mark sheets for all semesters/years, SC/ST/OBC/PWD certificates (whatever applicable), work experience certificates, testimonials etc. should be sent in a sealed cover superscribed “Application for the post of Scientist/ Senior Scientist, Post Code -----------------, Advt.No.01/2012” , so as to reach the Controller of Administration, Central Electrochemical Research Institute, Karaikudi – 630 006, Tamil Nadu on or before 30.03.2012.
