Qualification :
M.Sc in Physics, Space Sciences, Atmospheric Sciences, Chemistry (Physical / Nuclear / Analytical), Geology, Geophysics, Ocean Sciences and Climate Sciences and first class or equivalent at the Bachelor's and Master's degree levels. Students must have Physics and Mathematics at the Under Graduate level. Master's degree award should be on or after August 2009. Those expecting a Master's degree by 31st August, 2012 can also apply.
Selection Procedure : All the invited candidates will appear in a written test. The level of test will be based on the Post Graduate syllabi of Indian Universities. Performance in the written test and the latest scores in JEST / GATE / UGC-CSIR NET - JRF, if available, will be considered for qualifying for personal interview that will follow.
Age limit : 25 years as on 31.12.2011 (i.e., born on or after 31.12.1986).
