ICMR - Scientist- I (MCA / MSc)

The following vacant posts are needed on purely temporary basis under the project entitled “Biomedical Informatics Centre of ICMR” under Dr. S.S. Das, PI & Scientist ‘D’ of this Institute :-



Post:
1.Scientist II
Qualification :
Essential :- 1st Class M.Sc. in any branch of Life Sciences with at least 3 years of Research Experience in bioinformatics. Or Ph. D in Life Sciences with research experience in molecular biology and bioinformatics.
Desirable :- Experience in protein informatics, such as homology modeling, protein docking, protein-protein interactions, protein database development and systems biology.

2.Scientist I
Qualification :
Essential :- 1st Class M.Sc. in any branch of Science/MCA with commendable knowledge of computer programming and different bioinformatics tools and techniques.
Desirable :- Experience in database and web-server development, sound knowledge
in web-based programming and working knowledge in System Administration, Hardware and
Networking.

Age is relaxable for SC/ST/OBC Candidates as per Govt. of India Rules.
The posts are purely temporary and co-terminus with the project.
